Leading Edge Sailing LLC is based out of Portland, Oregon on the world famous Columbia River. The mighty Columbia provides an ideal venue for perfecting your sailing skills, as students are exposed to dynamic conditions in a picturesque setting, all within twenty minutes of downtown Portland!

Leading Edge Sailing is a fresh approach to a sailing school. In order to make sailing as enjoyable, exciting, and safe as possible, we exclusively sail top tier boats that go fast while allowing our students to feel comfortable and in control at all times. While other programs may have more boats in their fleet, we truly believe in quality over quantity.

In order to maximize helm time and student/instructor interaction, we maintain a 4:1 student to instructor ratio. All Leading Edge Sailing instructors are ASA certified and trained in first aid/CPR. Last but not least, Leading Edge instructors are passionate about what they do, and we are here to help you have fun while expanding your skills on and off the water.
